RM60 billion Stimulus Package, do we benefited yet...
The RM 60 billion stimulus package announced recently is unprecedented in the nation's history. This is on top of the RM 7 billion approved as an addendum to the 2009 Budget last November. It is larger than we are expected and that budget to be implemented over two years. Huh! What a surprised!
Anyway, DS Najib who is taking over as President of PEKEMBAR ( as suggested to be rebranding )later this month, UMNO anyway, he has acknowledged the very difficult problem the country and the people are facing. We all as well. People like us have for a long time been wanting for the Government to tell us the truth instead of hiding the bad news in economic jargon and parlance. Who care about our daily expenses? Seriously, we care much.....Generally we do not happy with current situation, but this stimulus package gonna cheers our future or not? Who dare to predict what gonna happen to us next week?Next month? or even tomorrow, we do not know yet....
We knew that, all the stimulus packages in the world will not stimulate our economy if there is poor implementation and monitoring. DS Najib already annouced The Monitoring Group, but still, them all still reporting to The Minister of Finance, so, what a difference?Do you say bad bout your payMaster hah! the so-called Monitoring Group, should be acting like external audit bureau, and they reported to the public, The Rakyat!
But that was then. The world has since passed us by as we were too embroiled in our own petty issues and quarrels to notice. Current issues!Yet to be answer by our elected Prime Minister. PPSMI, Money Politic, Karpal Nyanyok and the latest Unity Govt Move among Malays Politics Organization, UMNO,PAS and PKR itself. The Malays should stand up and urged our community leader, support this ideas full hearted, honest to our future generation, so that we can run this country in peace. The Non-Malays can enough demand anymore. But Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat said he was against the idea of a Barisan-PAS unity government, as mooted by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.Huh! Could someone convince Tok Guru about this brilliant ideas. This is not for today or tomorrow, but the alliances is for our future generation. “It’s been tried before but did not work out. PAS was not appreciated in the coalition and I have many misgivings about this,” Nik Abdul Aziz told reporters in Kota Baru, adding, however, that it was his personal opinion and the matter needed to be deliberated at PAS’ Muktamar (annual general assembly) in June. Abdul Hadi had recently called for the formation of a Federal Govern-ment comprising Barisan and Pakatan Rakyat leaders. UMNO Youth & PAS Youth also voiced its support for the move, saying it was timely.
On the DAP’s opposition to the unity government, that party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng was putting DAP’s grip on political power above national interest. Lim has demanded that Abdul Hadi explained what he meant by a unity government to PKR and the DAP, PAS’ allies in the Opposition pact.“As for the DAP, there is no such thing as the formation of such a government,” Lim said to the press. So what we Malays care much about chineses and indians, they dont bother about us, and i'm personally urged our leaders, do something about malays...
Back to the outlined of stimulus package, the thrusts of that 60 billion package is reducing unemployment and increasing employment opportunities, easing the burden of the rakyat, and particular the vulnerable groups, assisting the private sector in facing the crisis and the last one is building capacity for the future. The goverment should continue to implement appropriate measures to strengthen the confidence of the rakyat and ease the burden that rakyat like us facing currently.Priority have to be put to protect the welfare of vulnerable rakyat especially The Malays. Because the fact is Malaysia is TANAH MELAYU, TANAH TUMPAH DARAHKU!
I pray to Allah SWT to grant us the confidence, strength and preseverence in facing the crisis and bless our leaders to commit their responsiblity. ALLAHUAKBAR!HIDUP MELAYU!
